Conductors-AAAC

- What are AAAC?
- Specification
AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor) is a type of overhead electrical conductor made from aluminum alloy, rather than pure aluminum. It is similar to AAC (All Aluminum Conductor), but with the added advantage of using a higher-strength aluminum alloy, providing better mechanical properties, especially in areas with higher tension or environmental stress.
- Standards: BIS/IEC/BS, etc
- Voltage Rating: Low Voltage (Up to 1.1 kV), Medium Voltage (Up to 33 kV)
- Range up to: 61 strands
Key Components of AAAC
- Conductor: Aluminium Alloy

What is Aerial Bunched Cable?
Aerial Bunched Cable (ABC) is a type of overhead power line that uses insulated conductors instead of traditional bare conductors. It’s called “bunched” because the cables are tightly bundled together and typically wrapped around a high-strength messenger wire (usually made of aluminum alloy or steel) that supports the weight and provides mechanical strength.
